DM (Demineralization) plant resins are the heart of a water treatment system that removes mineral salts, converting them into high-purity water. These resins come in two main types: cation exchange and anion exchange, each playing a crucial role in the process. 

Ion exchange resins are insoluble, porous, polymeric beads used to exchange specific ions within a fluid with ions held by the resin. This process is reversible and is widely used for purification, separation, and decontamination of liquids, including water.
